Code Champions is running a coding course for Saint Kentigern Boys’ and Girls’ School students in the upcoming school holiday (15 and 16 April).
Join us for two days of coding activities focusing on website design and creation with HTML, CSS and JavaScript programming languages.

- Dates: Monday 15 and Tuesday 16, April, 2024
- Time: 9.25am sign-in for 9.30am start. Pick up at 3pm.
- Location: DVC Room (Science Block), Saint Kentigern
- Tutor: Greg Adams
- Content: This is an introductory course to programming languages HTML and CSS (with a little JavaScript), and will cover the basics of webpage design and creation using the code editor Brackets (brackets.io).
- Age: This course is for students in Years 5-7 (Please note, we can only accept students from Saint Kentigern Boys’ and Girls’ Schools.)
- Coding experience: None required. Students will learn all the coding skills they need to complete the activities.
Priority for Terms 3 and 4 after-school classes

While this is a standalone course, it is similar in content to the after-school classes we’re currently running during Terms 1 and 2.
When we come to booking in our Term 3 and 4 groups, there may be spaces available and anyone doing this holiday course would have done enough of the work needed to join (they may need to do a little catching up but, essentially, they’d be good to go) and will be given priority placement for any spare spots.
Cost and booking a place
The cost for the two-day course is $275 (this includes the use of a laptop during the two days, as well as access to appropriate software).
If you’re interested and would like to book a spot, please complete and submit the form below. If you have any questions, contact us at admin@codechampions.nz
Places on the holiday course are limited and we’ll process enquiries in the order we receive them.
* Holiday courses run subject to sufficient numbers.
