Holiday Coding Course at Diocesan School for Girls

Join Code Champions for fun and learning on Monday 8 to Wednesday 10 December, 9am-3pm.

Location: English Village, Diocesan School for Girls

Example of block coding

Activities:

  • Day 1: Coding activities with a Microbit microcomputer
  • Day 2: Programming and driving a Maqueen Robot
  • Day3: Design and create simple arcade-style games

The programming will be mostly block coding and the sessions will be a combination of instruction and hands-on activity. While the aim is to have fun and enjoy the coding experience, girls will learn and put into practice basic programming concepts.

Who: The course is for girls in Years 4-6. Maximum number of 12 students.

No coding experience required. Students will learn the skills needed to complete all activities.

Maqueen Robot

Price: The cost is $300  (which includes the use of a laptop, robots, microcomputer, software, and resources during the course). This is payable directly to Code Champions after your registration is confirmed.
