Coding in Minecraft

For one of the days, our young coders will enter the world of Minecraft. Inside this unique and engaging environment, they will explore and practise a range of programming concepts.
The group will be using Minecraft Education, which is specially designed for use in the classroom to promote creativity and learning.
Robotics: Maqueen Robot and Micro:bit

On the other day, we’ll introduce robotics and code a Maqueen Robot to perform basic movements. Activities will also include adding lights and sounds, and using ultrasonic sensors.
Students will code with Mind+ software, which is a block-coding program (similar to Scratch). It’s straightforward and intuitive to learn, and produces excellent results.

The cost for the full holiday course is $300 (this includes the use of a laptop, micro:bit microcomputer, software, and other materials).
