Think. Build. Solve. Compete!

Does your daughter like building things, solving puzzles, figuring out how things work, and taking on a challenge? Then EPro8 could be for her!

Meet the EPro8 Challenge

The EPro8 Challenge is an exciting, hands-on engineering and science competition.

Groups of students design, build, measure, test, think creatively, and work as a team to tackle real-world engineering challenges. Along the way, they’ll develop problem-solving, critical thinking, teamwork, engineering, maths, and practical STEM skills.

Represent St Cuthbert’s College

Plus, there’s an extra incentive: our students will have the opportunity to compete on a team that represents St Cuthbert’s College Junior School in next year’s EPro8 inter-school competition!

Details of 2027 course

Next year, training sessions will run during Terms 1, 2 and 3, with the competition being held locally in early Term 4.

  • Day: Friday
  • Time: Lunchtime (1-1.40pm approx.)
  • Location: PLC Room
  • Age: Year 6 (in 2027)

Cost

The cost of the course is $180 per term (for Terms 1, 2 and 3) and $40 for Term 4, which will be billed to your school account. This includes use of EPro8 kits, course materials and other resources, plus entry into the inter-school competition.

Training instructor

The course is being organised and run by Greg Adams, who also coordinates the after-school coding course, Code Champions.

Could your daughter be our next EPro8 champion?

EPro8 is challenging. It’s hands-on. And it’s a lot of fun.

Give your daughter the chance to discover what she can do.

No previous experience is needed – just curiosity, creativity and a willingness to have a go.
